As the former 5 year Director of Animal Placement at the ASPCA, and President of Animal News Center for 3 years, I have worked closely with 21st Century CARES on several projects.

I feel the timing of the release of this educational material is well overdue, the content of the website as well as the series of handbooks for humane education is simply unrivaled and unavailable elsewhere.

Attempting to cover every conceivable topic related to this important curriculum has been addressed fairly and will provide every reader with an abundance of invaluable guidance and instruction on how to promote humane education that will guide today's students - tomorrow's decision makers.

Sincerely,

After reading the contents of these books, I give them 2 thumbs up! Humane Education should be an integral part of American Education for all children at all academic levels. The material provided in this volume set is invaluable and should compliment the offerings at all academic institutions such as schools and libraries. The information provided in these books is geared towards educating society about salient issues related to non human animals to human relations, common pet misconceptions, proper care of animals and so much more. This set is an eclectic collection of lesson plans, stories and general animal related information. I strongly endorse Humane Education for all, and I strongly recommend this volume set for all educators, parents, students and citizens in general.

Respectfully,

Dr. Jeanette Shutay Ph.d.

In a country of animal lovers lamenting the needless loss of lives due to the over population of dogs and cats, someone finally offered a solution! The solution that has looked us in the face for years, but has lacked organization, direction, and simplicity is offered.

This collection of books is easy to read, overflowing with information, and offers means of implementation to resolve the problem of over population. The best part? The cost! For just a few dollars, you will have ample amounts of information, lesson plans, and activities for all students. This is information that can change our world.

Humane Education is the key to resolving the overpopulation epidemic in our country. 21st Century CARES just handed you the recipe. We must start with our children to make a difference for our pets tomorrow. These books teach empathy, compassion, and benevolence to our future leaders. With attributes such as those being learned at a young age, our society as a whole will benefit.
