Today's Humane Education              T.H.E.  T.E.A.M.              To Educate And Motivate

Hi everyone,

Just watching the big game and my team is loosing.  Can't understand why they continue to loose when they have such marvelous dedicated players.

Speaking of teams, it's much like the marvelous and dedicated players in the animal protection movement.  I know how hard they work.  But nobody works together - it's all separate as if "My Way Is The only way" .  Either follow me or go away.  That is  one of my biggest gripes about the animal protection movement is the divisiveness that ultimately prevents any good ideas from being properly implemented across the board so as to see a truly successful effort and the subsequent, much needed results we have all worked so hard to see.

Someone once told me that 'We can never expect to win the game unless all our teammates play by the same rules."  Ithink that speaks volumes.

I'm hoping with the good brains that are within this group and others you also may know, we can build off this idea. There is really no membership, no group name & no dues, no ''joining'' anything, but a mental state that continues to remind us that teamwork has proven the most successful means of accomplishing anything since the beginning of time.

JOIN "THE TEAM".  (Today's Humane Education.    To Educate And Motivate)

We could use that as a montra like 'give a voice to the voiceless'  and others we've heard, that catch on, but don't put anyone into a grouping that is political or 'winged' (right or left) just something to think about.

Just simply working WITH others as much as possible to garner improved results and begin the trend setting move of joining THE TEAM. It's not the home team, the best team, the only team or any given team,  just do something as a joint venture with other people or groups to expand the horizons of what can be accomplished.

This truly begins with each and every person speaking to at least 5 other people each week regarding important things they should know. In order to do this, we need to reach those who DON"T look at animal protection websites, who DON"T understand that their voice is just as important as the next one - not to mention their involvement to do the right things.

You wouldnt' believe how many efforts to help the animals are being duplicated by various groups and then become lost in the craze.  Or how many similar ideas there are that just never see any realtime in the public eye because the various entities are unaware of the others who think the same way.  Think of how the large organizations continue to bicker with each other, or just try and imagine having a meeting of 20 rescuers and how long they would last in one room without killing each other.

So Bob or Jane do things differently.  That is EXACTLY what America is based upon.  The important thing to keep in mind is that they, too are working towards a common goal and should recieve the same amount of support and appreciation as all others.  After all, if your idea was in deed the best one, you would be much better known by now.  Shed the egos and join 'THE TEAM" and try and all play by the same rules.

Rather than bore everyone with a bunch of webpages from my site, just email me if you wish to take on anything here and I will gladly direct you to the appropriate page or pages.  If anyone has additional ideas, PLEASE SHARE THEM WITH US.

It is said that in America, ANYTHING that can be imagined, can be accomplished.  I imagine in 20 years, IN MY LIFETIME, through humane education, that we will see the larger animal organizations continue their good work, but to do much more with the time, resources and money we give them.  I dream of the smaller rescuers recognizing that their part in providing humane education to their local schools is a vital portion of this efforts success.

Is that too much to dream?  Do you feel that humans are capable of stopping the bickering, the politics and putting their egos aside just so we could actually see some successses in this movement?  Only time will tell.

Keep thinking of new ideas.  New Ideas Brings New Results.  Humane education is clearly for all ages.      Let me hear from you. 21stcares@citlink.net    To find our more on how you too can help in your local community , please CLICK HERE!
