Book:  ''To Look Within''   a 'self-help' book for all persons who hope to save animals.  An insider's view of the American version of the animal protection movement and all the noble and hard working volunteers who devote their entire beings and souls to the simple, yet unachievable goals of actually seeing resolve due to egos, politics and greed.  With the countless holes and flaws within this movement, this book is hoping to guide the nation's animal protection movement onto a more successful track.  To obtain this goal the author is trying to break it all down in order to show 'the complete picture' from various aspects.

At some point in time, we must all make the decision to stop exhausting our energies and resources that place their focus on only  cleaning   up yesterday's messes and to  decide we want to see solutions that will ultimately protect the millions and billions of animals yet to be born as well.    Knowledge of varying efforts among our many organizations is key.   Humane Education is the best.... no,  the ONLY means we have to accomplish this goal!

Every year 8 million unwanted pets are put to death even as other litters are being born. The pounds and shelters continue to ask for money to solve the problem, yet no real progress is being made in that direction.  For a majority of these agencies, 90 ¢ on every $1 that comes in is spent on administration costs.  Randy Warner, President of 21st Century Cares, says the only real solution is to educate our children for the future.  Many groups lobby for social change through legislation.  History has proven that conscience is a much greater tool than consequence.

With the growing level of politics within the larger national animal groups damaging countless delicate egos within the ranks,  they view themselves as competitors for the all mighty dollar. With Americans spending nearly $40 billion over the past 20 years on animal protection issues, it's clear that money is not going to resolve these issues or we would have been finished with saving animals a decade ago.

Randy has listed and discussed the ten reasons why we, as a society are possibly not even set up to resolve these issues of overpopulation and abuse.  Money is our biggest enemy in the war to find resolve. If these multi million dollar organizations were to actually solve the problem of pet overpopulation for example,  they would put themselves out of business.  Because they would no longer be able to send out flyers with puppies behind bars.  One single photo can bring these groups millions of dollars in 'heart-felt' donations and they know it, too.

21st Century Cares is currently looking for opportunities for interviews in all forms of mass media. It is essential that society take responsibility for this issue and learn how to resolve it.   Without a strong program of humane education,  all of our tomorrows will simply bring us millions more animals that are doomed to face the same tragic ending as those of yesterday.

21st Century Animal Resource and Education Services is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is to educate children and youth in the care and treatment of animals so the future for our four legged friends is brighter than their present. Its focus is on the problem of overpopulation as well as abuse.
